💡 The UF Computing Help Desk also offers remote desktop support, which allows technicians to remotely access and control a user's computer to troubleshoot and resolve issues. This service is available for UF-owned and personally-owned computers, and can be requested through the help desk.

UF Computer Security

UF takes computer security very seriously, and offers a range of resources and services to help users protect their computers and data. These include:

  • Antivirus software available for download through the UF Computing Help Desk website
  • Firewall configuration and setup assistance
  • Secure authentication methods, such as two-factor authentication, to protect user accounts
  • Regular security updates and patches for UF-owned computers
  • Education and awareness programs to help users recognize and avoid phishing scams and other online threats

UF Computer Labs
